Dudh Kund Trek is an ultimate gateway along the route of Numbers of Himal, which gives a fascinating glimpse of gigantic mountains, foggy hills, and colorful forests. So, our Dudh Kunda Trek package initially kicks off with a cultural exploration of the historic Kathmandu valley. In Kathmandu, you will be doing some sightseeing of ancient heritage areas such as Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath. Kathmandu valley is full of ancient monuments, crafts, heritage, and monuments, thus it is also known as the city of temples. So, you will experience plenty of such small and big temples, monuments and arts while in Kathmandu.
Now, from Kathmandu, you will kick off your destination towards Dudh Kunda Trek. So, from Kathmandu, you will be heading towards Phaplu on a domestic flight. From Phaplu you will be heading towards headquarter of Solukhumbu district, along the ascending and descending trekking routes. The region is a complete mixture of culture, rivers, arts, mountains, rocky walls, rough routes ,and the ultimate mixture of Himalayan forests. Along the route, you will get to interact with locals with diversified culture. Especially, these Himalayan rough routes are home to indigenous ethnic groups like Tamangs, Magars, Gurungs, Rais, and the adventurous Sherpas.

What to expect ?

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu-Drive to Hotel
Our airport representative will receive you at the airport, and after this, you will be transferred to the hotel on BB plan.
Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing-Overnight at a hotel
You will be exploring the historic capital of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu. Here you will discover the heritage areas such as Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and Swoyambhunath. Pashupatinath is a sacred Hindu temple where hundreds of devotees come to worship. Similarly, Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath are holy pagodas for both Hindus and Buddhist worshippers. Finally, you will be staying overnight at the hotel for the next day's flight to Phaplu.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Kathmandu-Phaplu on Flight
So, with breakfast in the morning session, you will be heading towards the airport on a domestic flight to Phaplu. From Phaplu, the trekking route will start along headquarter of Solukhumbu district. You will be under the guidance of our trekking guide, where you will be explained about all the natural scenarios, cultures and local villages. Thus, we will be staying overnight at the manual tent.
Day 4: Trek towards Takshindu (3000m) to Dudhkoshi River-6 hours
On this day you will continue the trekking route from Takshindu crossing the ups and downs of Ringmo village over an altitude of above 3000m. Along with the ways, you will discover many colorful flowers in the forest of Rhododendron and pine. You will reach the Dudhkoshi River after a walk of about 6 hours crossing the hustle and bustle of Himalayan rough tracks. Thus, you will stay overnight at the tented camp.
Day 5: Trek from Takshindu to Beni (4000m)-6 Hours
So, with breakfast in the morning session, you will be continuing your route from Takshindu. Crossing the ascending and descending routes at an altitude of nearly 4000m, you will explore few Sherpa villages. Here, you can have some cultural exchange stuff, as we are always there to mentor you. Thus, you will be staying overnight at the Tented Camp.
Day 6: Beni to Dudhkunda (4600m)-6 Hours
This is the main destination of our whole route, as you will discover the majestic scenes of Dudhkunda (Sacred Milky Lake) beneath the edge of Number Himalaya. Along the way, you will explore various rocky walls, hills, local villages, colorful forests, and majestic mountain ranges. Number of Mountain in a sacred Himalayan range, which is also known as Sorong Yul Lha in Tibetan script and is regarded as the savior of Solu region can be seen.
You will be staying overnight at the tented camp.
Day 7: Trek Back to Ringmo Village (2700m) from Dudh Kunda-5/6 Hours
From DudhKunda (Sacred Milky Lake) you will be heading back to Ringmo Village following the incline and zig-zag routes. Thus, you will be staying overnight at Ringmo Village backyards on a tented camp.
Day 8: Trek back to Phaplu (2470m) from Ringmo Village
You will continue your trekking routes from cultural Ringmo Village back to Phaplu, exploring the fabulous glimpse of gigantic mountain ranges. So, in Phaplu you will be staying overnight for the next day's flight to Kathmandu.
Day 9: Phaplu-Kathmandu Flight-(1310m)-35 minutes
We will manage early morning flight to Kathmandu from Phaplu, so after reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. In Kathmandu, you can manage your shopping schedule for future memories based on your requirements.
Thus, you will get a farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant along with some gossip session with us before an overnight stay.
Day 10: Departure
Thus, with breakfast in the morning session, you will be transferred towards the TIA, Kathmandu airport for your onward destination.
