About Trip:
Annapurna Base Camp Trekking follows the classic trekking trail in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This route passes through the traditional Gurung and Sherpa villages, Glaciers, waterfalls, suspension bridges and destinations as Ghorepani and Poon Hill. This trek encompasses various natural and artistic attractions of Nepal. Once you leave Kathmandu, the trail moves closer to the Himalayas. Annapurna Base Camp at the height of 4130m is the highest point of the trek.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek has a distinct feature with its scenic beauty of fauna, rivers, flora, and mountains. The trail passes series of mountains ranges like Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Langtang, Gangapurna, and Annapurna. Furthermore, Annapurna Base Camp Trek also takes us to Poon Hill and Ghorepani region where we can enjoy the stunning Nepalese landscape, culture, tradition, and lifestyles along with the alpine valley, frozen lakes, centuries-old caves, and monasteries.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in TIA, our representative picks you from the Airport and transfers you to the hotel.
Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 02: City tour
Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is a home for different cultural heritages and traditional spots. During your stay at Kathmandu, we visit Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. Pashupatinath is a famous Hindu pilgrimage which is the temple of Lord Shiva while Bouddhanath is the biggest monastery in Nepal. Rest of the day can be spent in shopping around Thamel and preparing for the trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the Trishuli River takes about 6/7 hours. During the journey, you can enjoy the view of suspension bridges above the Rivers, hills in the opposite side and few settlements along the highway. If we have enough time, we explore the Phewa Lake at Lakeside, Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and then trek to Tikhedhunga: (3 to 4 hours of walk)
Early morning, we will drive to Nayapul, which is about 3 to 4 hours of scenic drive in a Jeep. Then our trek commences with a walk to Tikhedhunga. The trail to Tikhedhunga is a somewhat steep upwards. We will cross few suspension bridges and some small settlements before we reach Tikhedhunga.

Day 05: Trek Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (6 to 7 hours of walk)
After early morning breakfast, we will begin our trek along the steep stairs. It’s the slow and easy climb for a couple of hours before we reach Ghorepani. There are multiple stops in the way up to Ghorepani where you can have the lunch or cup of coffee.

Day 06: Early morning climb up to Poon Hill and then Trek to Tadapani (6 to 7 hours of walk)
We will wake up early in the morning and trek for about an hour to reach Poon Hill where we can witness the panorama view of Himalayan ranges and the beautiful sunrise. We will enjoy the view for some moments and then trek back to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, we will walk up and down through the hills and cross multiple small settlements before we reach Tadapani.

Day 07: From Tadapani to Chhomrong(5 to 6 hours of walk)
The trail descends through the Rhododendron and pine forest. The further walk leads you to the riverside and then to Kimrong. Again a steep stony climb awaits you for few more hours before reaching Chhomrong. Chhomrong bestow the sheer beauty of Annapurna

Day 08: From Chhomrong to Himalayan Hotel (5 to 6 hours of walk)
Walking alongside the Chhomrong River, we ascend uphill to Sinuwa. The trail then leads us to Dobhan. After some rest, we will climb to Himalayan hotel. To sum up, it takes about 5-6 hours for us to reach the Himalaya Hotel from Chhomrong.

Day 09: From Himalayan Hotel to the Annapurna Base Camp (5 to 6 hours of walk)
The trek commences with stunning views of the glacier as we ascend through the steep path to Hinku Cave. Then the trail climbs to Deurali and then to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Further, the trail continues to Annapurna Sanctuary. The panoramic views of mountains such as Annapurna South, Mt. Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli are stunning.

Day 10: Back from ABC to Bamboo (6 to 7 hours of walk)
After having quality time in Annapurna base camp, we will begin our walk downhill to Deurali. Then with a few ups and downs in the serene forest, you will reach Bamboo.

Day 11: From Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (Hot Spring) (5 to 6 hours of walk)
From here, we take a short steep up to Khuldi Ghar, and then the path moves down to Sinuwa danda and Chomrong Khola. Then after, we will walk uphill for less than an hour before reaching Chomrong village for lunch. Then the route leads to Jhinu danda. Jhinu Danda offers refreshing hot springs just near Modi river.

Day 12: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and then drive to Pokhara (3 to 4 hours of walk)
This is the last day of our trek. We trek down to Nayapul from Jhinu Danda and then drive back to Pokhara. For the evening, we explore Pokhara City.

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
After early breakfast, it’s time to leave Pokhara. We drive to Kathmandu in a tourist bus where we can enjoy the beautiful views of terraced hills and Rivers on the way. After reaching Kathmandu, we can either take rest or do some shopping around Thamel.

Day 14: Final Departure
