What to expect ?
Inaugurated in spring 2004, the Mediterranean Biodiversity Park of Catanzaro is the real green lung of the city. In 60 hectares of land coexist wildlife species (owls, golden eagles, squirrels, parrots, ducks, swans, peacocks) and great varieties of flora (tree species, tall trees, water plants, hedges) that frame the MARCA OPEN, Open Air Museum of Contemporary Art. The Park also houses the headquarters of CRAS, the Wildlife Recovery Centre.
